WHAT IS THE NATIONAL FOUNDATION STALLION SERVICE PROGRAM?

This program was designed for two main purposes:

1. To promote the Foundation Quarter Horse breed by marketing breedings to AQHA/NFQHA certified stallions

2. To show the offspring of Foundation Quarter Ho
rses

All stallions enrolled are registered AQHA and certified/registered through the National Foundation Quarter Horse Association (NFQHA). A nytime a NFQHA Stallion is bred to an NFQHA mare, the resulting foal qualifies for NFQHA certification, provided the foal meets AQHA requirements.  If the mare is not NFQHA certified, the offspring may qualify as long as the stallion that is chosen is the same as or of a higher Foundation Quarter Horse percentage than what is suggested on the mares NFQHA letter of percentage verification.

All nominated stallion contracts, all bids on nominated stallions, all FSSP futurity forms, and all fees should be be mailed to the National Foundation Stallion Sevice Program (NFSSP) Chair:
