Oregon Foundation Quarter Horse Club


Welcome to the Oregon Foundation Quarter Horse Club website!  The purpose of this site is to inform people about our club, and to provide timely information for our members about upcoming events, activities, and club business.

Established in 1996 OFQHC offers a challenging yet supportive place to compete, trail ride, and enjoy the company of other goal oriented Western riders.

No year end award fees needed to be eligible for saddles, buckles and special awards

            Open to all NFQHA yearlings, 2 yr olds, 3 yr olds

                Open to all breeds- each divisions winner will be eligible to win!

           Shows are National Foundation Quarter Horse Association point approved.

 No ornamental silver plate allowed
 No fancy show attire
 No hoof black
 No weanling halter

           Any age horse can be ridden two handed in a snaffle or Bosal, and we offer

           down to earth events that give you a place to learn and grow with your horse.

OFQHC OFFERS ALL BREED CLASSES IN EVERY PERFORMANCE EVENT!  

  • Each year we honor our best of the best at our year end awards banquet.

  • May 23, ALL BREED TRAIL CHALLENGE INCLUDING EXTREME TRAIL CHALLENGE COURSE, Rim Rock Riders' Grounds, Brasada Ranch, Powell Butte, OR Look under NW Trails Program for additional information)
  • June 26-28, WAFQHC Point Earning show ,  Klickitat County Fairgrounds, Goldendale, WA  (hosted by WaFQHC)
  • August 7-9, ALL BREED SHOW and FOUNDATION TRAIL FUTURITY, MHEEC, Boring, OR,  (Look under Foundation Trail Program Futurity for additional information)
  • Sept. 11-13, ALL BREED SHOW AND NFQHA WESTERN REGIONAL, Klickitat County Fairgrounds, Goldendale,WA
